The Agra Fort is enclosed by a double battlemented substantial wall of red sandstone. This wall is about 2 kilometer in perimeter which is interrupted by graceful curves and lofty bastions. The partitions of the fort are a massive seventy ft significant. The fort stretches for nearly 2.5 kilometers. It's 4 gates (a person on each side). Out on the 4 gates, the Delhi gate and Lahore gate are the most notable types. The Lahore gate was later on renamed as Amar Singh Gate.
